María Jesús Barrachina
Maria Jesús is originally from Aragón but has lived in Catalonia for many years. He worked for 10 years in the costemic sector and in the meantime she combined her training in Dietetics and Nutrition with her passion for the world of gastronomy. She studied cooking and pastry at the Hofmann School of Hospitality, and she completed several training courses with the 'Ecole Lenôtre' and a 6-month pastry stage at the 'Hofmann Restaurant'.
Working in gastronomy sector, she discovered the world of wines by training as a Sommelier in 'ESHOB' and doing her master's degree in Winegrowing, Winemaking and Wine Marketing.
She has worked for 6 years as project manger with event, fairs and congresses and she has been professor of hotel courses in the 'Gremi de Restauració de Barcelona', as well as teacher in the 'ESHOB' for middle and high studies degree.
She actually works as a Sommelier and freelance trainer, and she is the secretary of the 'Catalan Association of Sommeliers'.
