Fran started Sommelieria in the ESHOB, obtaining later the degree of Head of Room and the Master in Viticulture, Oenology and Wine Marketing.
He has worked as a Sommelier in Lavinia, the restaurant Caelis, as well as taster in the Guide of Wines of Catalonia, in charge of Vinus & Brindis, Head of Room in restaurant Mil921. He currently collaborates with the Caves Maria Rigol Ordi and as Sommelier in the Marídame wine shop.
Fran defines himself as:
I am a thirty and some vintages young vineyard that grew up in Catalonia, a terroir that has given great wines for a long time. I found the coupage of my life in a winery in Madrid, I continue my ageing between Madrid and Barcelona and bottled in Sant Sadurni d'Anoia. I have been pruned by sommelier and enology studies. The rains have nourished my stays in Spain and France, giving fruit and an excellent harvest that has received the good words of the critic, writing, investigating and nourishing the roots. In view they define me as transparent and bright, with golden reflections and slow tear. In the mouth, very salty, with a sweet spot and a spicy post-taste. A cosmopolitan wine that transmits to every sip the "joie de vivre".
